14 Strong L.a.g. Common Sense About Poetry
London Victor Gollancz Limited. 1931 First Edition Card Covers. Acceptable None
167 pages by the well known author of many Irish works. Card Covers , slightly grubby in place with some foxing to edges of pages. This book does not attempt to make the study of poetry easy. If it did, it would have failed before the first word was written: for the study of poetry can never be easy, and more than common sense is needed to reach its secret. It is written for the average fair- minded reader , of whatever age, who has not hitherto paid any real attention to the subject. A most interest book. Scarce.
